Highly recommend Joe from Oakley's Stump 'n Grind! Joe was excellent at communicating throughout the whole process, even with a lot of schedule changes mainly due to weather. He initially came out to give me a quote and was able to remove a couple of smaller stumps that very same day, including one that had already been ground down by someone else but was growing back. Before tackling my bigger stump issues, he proactively handled calling the city to have all utility lines flagged (gas, cable, phone, etc.). Once that was complete, the weather turned rainy daily, so we agreed to wait until the ground wasn't a muddy mess. At this point, I trusted him completely, so I paid him upfront for the remaining work since I might not have been available on the final work days. Joe came back exactly as planned and finished the final stump removal, which was in a tricky area wedged between a green power box and my fence. I'm so glad he had a photo with his daughter in one of his ads; it’s what made me call him initially, and I can't imagine anyone else getting that stump out without causing damage to the utilities or the fence line! He completely cleaned up the area when he was finished, and all of this was done for a very fair price.
